The Death of Col. Blake in 1975-I remember when that episode aired, I already knew before that he was going to be killed, because my sister told me. Exept she told me he was going to be killed in a plane crash. She'd read it somewhere, and knew I didn't want to know, but she told me anyway, just to be mean. I remember, I was so mad at her for that.

Janet Jacksons "wardrobe malfunction"-I didn't acctually see it, but I was reading a magazine, and I remember I looked up when I heard my mother shout "THAT'S DISGUSTING!!!"

Nobody Loves Maries Sculpture-2001
FUNNY episode!!!

I had the TV on but I wasn't looking at the screen during the infamous wardrobe malfunction.

I do think people overreacted though, cleavage is okay, but exposed nipple bad?

The worst part was the way people reacted towards Janet afterwards. I remember all the outcries that SNL put Janet as the host to promote her CD. I mean, WTF? Janet had roles on three now-classic TV series, her run of hit singles stretches back twenty years, and all and all, she'd been famous for a very long amount of time, all these neo's were completely forgetting all of that stuff in favor of the nipple and whining about SNL choosing her to host. The same season, crap like Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake, etc... were chosen to host SNL as well, unlike those artists, people over the age of 25 actually give two ****s about Janet Jackson, we can care less about Lindsey or Hilary, they don't exist to us, but you didn't see people complaining about the "poor judgment" about the choices of those teen celebs... Janet was having hits before Lindsey was even conceived, yet Lindsey's got more credibility because she didn't expose a nipple on television? bs..

I loved how Janet Jackson made fun of herself on SNL...that was hilarious. Her imitating Condoleeza Rice was soooo good.

Question All of those Unexpected Moments were pretty right-on...

Generally speaking, honestly also, I think that all of those 100 Unexpected TV Moments were right on the money as far as overall interest and, reflecting back is concerned!
(Not to mention the 1975 Academy Awards where the streaker paraded his way across and around the stage...LOL, I "barely" remember that at age 3)

does Nate's death on Six Feet Under count? I missed the 9 pm showing, but I caught the midnight showing on HBO-West (since I got a cable modem, I no longer get HBO in my room where I have the computer in and have to go to the living room to watch).

I'm surprised the series finale wasn't in there as well, I think we all knew Nate was going to die a week before it happened, the last five minutes of the finale (where we see what's going to happen to every character for the next eighty years) came to us unexpectly, and it was brilliant.
