Examples of real Celebrity Marriages... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

With forums being used alot to start threads abt so-called celebrity marriages and divorces, I thought I would start a thread of real celebrity marriages, the ones that do last, those couples that have survived the ups and downs of fame, money, addictions, etc. People like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage was no big shock to me, after what, five years??? Give me a break. I would be shocked if after twenty some years some couple got a divorce. These are some of my examples of good lasting marriages:

Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson
The late Bob Hope and his wife Doris
Pat Morita & Evelyn Guerrero (12 years until his recent death)
The late Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash (35 year relationship/marriage)
The late John Lennon & Yoko Ono

OMFG Irene, I had this EXACT same thread on my old board when people kept dissing celeb marriages!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees that they don't ALL go bad. In fact, I'm sure the ratio of successful to unsuccessful celeb marriages is pretty similar to the ratio of current successful to unsuccessful marriages with regular people.

Here are some more:

John Travolta and Kelly Preston
Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora

As far as I know Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon never married. Is that right?

A fine example of longevity in marriage are 2 of the greatest actors of the 20th century ............Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman. Almost 50 years.

Jon and Kristen Heder...okay not really a "celebrity" couple but he's hot and they've been married about 6 or 7 years I think.....

Yeah. That's probably why they're still together. Same with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

How could I forget my man John Travolta and his wife. You know, I grew up on John, and never have I ever heard him do or say anything bad abt any woman. There was no bad gossip or tabloids abt him being with women. He made a good choice. What an awesome display of marriage.
