The Overymyer Network/United Network in 1967. Was only on the air for about a month before it folded.

Wow, I didn't expect this thread to mention America's Talking. I watched that all the time, and even called into the show "Bugged!" every so often. It folded, and is now what we know as MSNBC.

I am not surprised. Very few people remember it (probably because very few people watched its one and only program). It was actually the follow-up to an earlier effort to create a "network" that would provide four hours of programming to 15 affiliates for Sunday nights only.

Oh yes... the channel I want to love, but they play too many stupid documentaries about things people don't care about on weekends.
