Shot fades out to Ray and Debra's bedroom.

Ray and Debra are both asleep. A door slams downstairs.

<Robert>
Ray! Deb!

Robert is running up the stairs.

<Robert>
Ray! Deb!

Ray and Debra wake up. Robert bursts into the room.

<Ray>
What do you want?

<Robert>
Dad had a heart attack.

Scene I

*Ray and Debra's house*

Ray and Debra both sit up in bed.

<Ray and Debra>
What!

<Robert>
Dad had a heart attack.

Ray and Debra jump out of bed.

<Debra>
Oh my God!

<Robert>
Amy and I will wait for you in the car.

<Ray>
Ok.

Robert leaves the room and Ray and Debra rush to get their coats and shoes on and run out of the room.

Scene II

*Queens Hospital*

Ray, Debra, Robert, and Amy are sitting in the waiting room. Closeup on Ray and Debra. Debra looks up at Ray.

<Debra>
Ray?

Ray looks down at Debra.

<Debra>
Ray I'm sorry I got so mad at you. It was a stupid little thing and I over reacted.

<Ray>
No, it was my fault. I shouldn't have lied to you.

<Debra>
But if I had just finished cleaning up the kitchen...

<Ray>
No, I shouldn't expect you to do everything.

Debra gives Ray a half smile. They kiss. Closeup on Robert and Amy.

<Robert>
Amy, I'm sorry about what I said.

Amy looks up at Robert.

<Amy>
No Robert. It was my fault. I took it too personally.

<Robert>
But I shouldn't expect you to do everything like that just because you're my wife.

<Amy>
It's ok Robert, really it is. I like doing that sort of thing.

<Robert>
Really?

<Amy>
Yeah.

Robert puts his arm around Amy.

Shot fades back to all four of them as tears silently slide down everybody's cheek.

Scene III

Marie is sitting on the bed in her hotel room. She picks up the phone and dials Ray and Debra's house. Nobody answers.

<Marie>
Raymond it's me. Are you there Raymond? I guess I'll call you later.

She dials home. Nobody answers.

<Marie>
Frank? Frank? Frank! Pick up the phone! I know you're there Frank! Robbie?

Marie begins to look worried and quickly packs up the few things she brought with her and leaves the room.

Scene IV

*Queens Hospital*

Marie rushes into the waiting room. Everybody looks up at her.

<Marie>
What happened!? Where's Frank!?

Debra quickly gets up and goes over to Marie. She takes her hand.

<Debra>
Marie, he had a heart attack.

Debra and Marie hug and tears roll down Marie's cheeks. Everybody goes over to Marie.

<Marie>
Is he going to be ok?

<Ray>
We don't know yet ma.

<Marie>
Let me see him.

Marie breaks away from everybody and hurries over to the operating room doors. A doctor comes through the doors. Everybody else stands around Marie.

<Doctor>
Mrs. Barone?

<Marie>
Yes. How is he? Is he going to be ok? Let me see him.

<Doctor>
Calm down Mrs. Barone, he's going to be alright.

<Marie>
Oh thank God.

Ray comforts Marie.

<Doctor>
You'll be able to see him in a little while.

<Amy>
Thank you.

Everybody goes to sit back down.

Scene V

*Queens Hospital*

Marie is sitting on a chair by the operating room door. Debra is asleep with her head on Ray's lap. Amy is asleep with her head on Robert's shoulder. A nurse comes out of the operating room and turns to Marie.

<Nurse>
Mrs. Barone?

Marie looks up.

<Marie>
Yes?

<Nurse>
You may come in now.

Marie quickly stands up and follows the nurse through the doors into the recovery room. Ray and Robert look at each other.

<Robert>
He'll be ok.

Robert puts an arm around Ray's shoulders.

Scene VI

Marie walks into Frank's recovery room and sits down on a chair near the head of his bed. Frank is asleep. Marie takes Frank's hand in hers.

<Marie>
Oh Frank. I didn't mean anything I said. I love you. Please stay with me, I can't live without you. I love you.

Marie lays her head down on the bed and closes her eyes as a tear falls down her cheek. Ray, Debra, Robert, and Amy walk into the room. Ray puts his arm around Debra and Robert puts his arm around Amy.

Scene VII

*Ray and Debra's House*

Ally comes downstairs and notices a note on the table. She walks over to the table and picks up the note to read it. Michael and Geoffery come downstairs a few minutes later. Ally sits down in a chair as tears fill her eyes.

<Michael>
What's wrong?

Ally looks up at them.

<Ally>
Grandpa had a heart attack.

<Geoffery>
What!?

<Michael>
This isn't a funny joke!

<Ally>
I'm not joking! I'm serious!

She hands the letter to the twins who quickly take it from her to read it. Tears fill both their eyes as they look up. Ally stands up and they all hug. The phone rings a few seconds later. Ally wipes her face and goes over to answer it.

<Ally>
Hello?

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
Hi sweetie.

Shot fades to Ally.

<Ally>
Mom, is grandpa going to be ok?

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
The doctor says he's going to be fine. You'll be able to come see him soon.

Shot fades to Ally.

<Ally>
Why can't we come now! Why didn't you wake us up!

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
Ally, there wasn't time.

Shot fades to Ally.

<Ally>
Well when can we come see him.

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
As soon as he wakes up someone will come to get you ok? Now I need you to get you and the boys something to eat and be ready to go when we get there.

Shot fades to Ally.

<Ally>
Ok.

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
Don't worry about Grandpa. He's going to be ok.

Shot fades to Ally.

<Ally>
Ok. Bye mom.

Shot fades to Debra.

<Debra>
Bye.

Debra hangs up the phone and walks back into Frank's recovery room. Marie and Ray are sitting on one side of the bed. Robert and Amy are sitting on the other side of the bed. Everybody looks up at Debra.

<Debra>
The kids are fine.

Debra walks to the foot of the bed. Everybody joins hands and bows their heads. A few seconds later Frank opens his eyes.

<Frank>
Hi there.

Everybody looks up.

<Marie>
Frank!

Marie takes Franks hand and looks into his eyes.

<Marie>
Oh Frank! I didn't mean any of it! I love you! I'm so glad you're ok!

Debra and Amy go and kiss Frank on either cheek.

<Debra>
I'm so glad you're ok Frank.

<Amy>
We knew you'd make it.

<Robert>
We're here for you dad.

<Ray>
We love you dad.

Frank smiles at them all as a tear runs down his cheek.

Scene VIII

*Queens Hospital*

Ally, Michael, and Geoffery rush into Frank's recovery room. Ray and Debra follow them in smiling. Ally hugs Frank. Michael hugs Frank. Geoffery hugs Frank.

<Ally>
Grandpa, we wre so worried about you!

<Michael>
Are you ok?

<Frank>
I'm fine kids.

Ally Michael and Geoffery sit down on the side of the bed. Debra and Ray walk over and stand beside the bed. Shot mores to only include Frank and Marie.

<Marie>
Don't you ever do that again!

Marie takes Franks hand in hers and they kiss.
