It was OK...the humor wasn't the kind of humor that would make me laugh. Ted Knight was a riot, but the supporting cast was annoying. I have 1 original airing of Too Close For Comfort, from the first season I think, that aired after Three's Company. It's missing the last 10 minutes though.

To me, it was'nt a very funny show, but it was a "nice" show. The whole family could watch it without having to give those "embarassing explainations" to the children. I think it was just a good clean deacent tv program - of which we have very few of today.

Edwardo (?), Too Close For Comfort was one of the VERY BEST television shows for its time. You should watch more episodes - especially those from the first 2 seasons. It was not only funny - it mad our lives ok.

I agree that the first two seasons of too close for comfort were incredibly funny and entertaining.

I loved this show too. I never really noticd it until my local FOX in Chicago was airing TCFC late at night in 1993. It came back in 1997-1998 and I tapeda bunch of episodes. I think I only taped 2 episodes from E! though. I have a motto, tape what you can since it will be cancelled and hard to find later anyway. I learnd the hard way. Fortunately I have taped everything I wanted back and now they are cancelled again. Whew!!

Hey, I did not know that WFLD aired Too Close For Comfort in the early 1990s. Wow, that was the show in which I originally thought was a sitcom about redecoratingLOL I will e-mail WFLD today and while I am at it, I would love to re-anact my old viewing habits and have them air Cosby Show at 5 PM. Although it airs on Nick At Nite.
