JJ buying a car. Forget about the fact that it was the ghetto and really a car is needless considering all the mass transportation. However, when and why would both JJ and Thelma get a driver's license?!? It just didn't make any sense. They both were so poor growing up that buying and driving a car would've been the farthest thing from their minds. Their whole lives they depended on buses and subways. Why would either one of them get a license to drive?

Well lots of Jobs today in 2005 require you to have a Driver's License but I don't know if it was like that in back in 1977

Well JJ, Popo, Cool Breeze and Head split the price of the car. And just because you live in the projects doesn't mean you can't afford to put gas in a car that 4 people are sharing. Look at the projects today, people have SUV for LOL.

there's something abt owning a car and having the freedom to go when you want. We had discussed how abt the licenses. We came to the conclusion that there was drivers education in school. But we didn't know how they got the actual license since you need a car to go driving in at the DMV.
