WABC/New York Debuts Weekly Oldies Show
The ABC Radio News/Talker is bringing back the Oldies that have been missing from New York City's airwaves since crosstown WCBS-FM flipped to Adult Hits "Jack" earlier this year. Saturday Night Oldies will air on WABC from 6-10pm weekly and will be hosted by Mark Simone.
Simone already hosts a weekly Saturday morning talk show on the station. As part of the new show's debut, a special message board has been set up at www.MusicRadio77.com where listeners will be able to post comments, ask questions and make requests. |

I don't really get out a lot. When I do go out, I couldn't be happier. I love being in a nice milieu. I'm as happy as a clam. Just as long as I'm not in some club playing hip-hop. You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents. |
