Default Thelma & Keith's Honeymoon...

Just wondering, since Keith had broken his leg, when do you think their marriage was consumated? that evening when he was home from the hospital? Or would that have been to painful for Keith? Or do you think a couple of days later? I want to think that when his cast came off. But, I am not a man, so I don't know what a man would do in that situation. As a woman, I would want to wait until my husband's leg healed.

I've broken a bone before and having sex that week would have been painful. Although I'm not a man, but I would say that if he waited a week then it wouldn't have hurt that much if he was on pain meds. He would've just laid there I guess LOL

I thought the same thing to abt Keith maybe just laying there, but, now this will sound funny, but, Thelma was a virgin (i assume) and I can't see her initiating something like this since she has never had experience. Now, if it was a female who had experience, then, I could see the guy just laying there while the woman took over...

I'm sure they waited for the leg to heal then it was on after that. Probably the only time Thelma's floor had clothes all over the place. But I hope Kieth took her to the motel/hotel or something. Could you imagine loosing virginity with mama on one side of wall and your crazy brothers on the other.

LOL I doubt that they waited until his leg healed because they were all over each other when it was in a cast.

Now about Thelma, I'm sure Kieth would have told her what to do and what he liked. Thelma was a smart girl I'm sure she figured it out LOL, Only one way it could've been done without hurting Kieth...Well two ways

I know they used to stay in the bedroom a lot. Even Willona called them out. And Florida asked "how did she know they were in the bedroom"? I think it was when she was practicing for her school bus exam.

Don't forget Keith was experienced (as he revealed in the big argument scene) and I think Thelma was either still a virgin or had very little experience ("that's none of your business!" "Well, are you!?"). I agree with Brie, he probably told her what he liked and how to do it. I'm sure they went slowly and carefully because of the cast.

I sure hope they had the place to themselves for the wedding night. Or maybe Willona and Penny stayed with Flo, JJ, and Michael, and Thelma and Keith could've stayed in Willona's apartment. Or maybe they already had arrangements at a hotel. Who knows??

That's another thing, were they even alone that evening? I am sure as protective as Flo was, she was hanging around the apartment like fly on sh*t. I wonder where they would have gone for their honeymoon?
