Default my personal choice

when the recent ban--suspension--etc came out

i have no business in that matter, so i shut up and just watched from the knothole

i have no opinion in the matter, and its none of my concern, name calling and chest thumping just dont thrill me

but heres my statement of personal choice

two people traded with this person, and publicaly got run in the mud because they sent discs that this person couldnt play

i will not take the same chance and trade with someone who will not get suitable equipment, and then cries the blues when theres a --most likely--self inflicted problem

this is not limited to the current topic of the last couple days

i have cut off other traders and sales for the same reason

a good reputation is very hard to maintain, and it just isnt worth any possible trade gain from a person who refuses to acquire suitable options on equipment,

the idea of my being the next trader to get a mud bath, just isnt going to be allowed to present itself

what you or the next trader does is totaly none of my business, as far as who you deal with

but before you deal with anyone next time, just think, do you want to be the next mud bath, and have your name dumped on because someone refuses to realize they may not have adequate equipment to partake in dvd trades and activities

i know i made my choice after reading lamonts name get smeared in the mud, and then it happened again just a couple days later when another--un named trader this time-- sent things that this person couldnt make work

i can learn from others mistakes

CAN YOU ??

this may not be a popular post

and i dont care

but

i didnt call anyone any names, swear at anyone, and didnt tell any lies

i just stated facts and asked a simple question

Default "trying to give them the benefit of the doubt"

One can learn an awful lot about the people in trading circles just by reading posts here and elsewhere. While they do rile me up sometimes since I hate seeing the bad guy win, I at least know who to stay away from.

The saddest part of it is that this kind of stuff comes and goes. New people that join enter into trades with unsavory folks just "trying to give them the benefit of the doubt" only to come out of the experience with yoke all over their faces (i.e. Lamont).

I do care about the feelings of others and whether or not their trade experiences are positive ones. You care more than you let on since I've seen you personally try to help these unsavory people become more knowledgable, all to little avail.
