Exclamation Hot Properties & Reunion both canceled--what does this mean for AD?

Hot Properties starring Gail O' Grady and Reunion starring Will Estes have both been canceled by ABC and FOX.

So what does this mean? Am I getting my hopes up or is it fate that both shows got canceled at once?

I know it's horrible that two shows got canceled...especially Reunion, I really enjoyed that show. But the American Dreams fan in me can't help but wonder...does this mean anything.

NBC canceled Martha Stewart Apprentice and we all know it's not doing so hot in the ratings right now....

Maybe AD has a chance? Or am I just being stupid??

It means we get to open up a big can of "I told you so", that's what.

By signing on to these two failed shows so early in the 2004-05 season, all Will Estes and Gail O'Grady did was make it all the easier for NBC to cancel AD.

I'd really like to think that AD could return, but if NBC wouldn't even run the alternate ending, I'm afraid there's little chance of it happening. It would be great if some other network picked it up (like PBS). Has any other cancelled show made a comeback after being gone a year, and all the sets were torn down? Probably the best we can hope for is to get those last two seasons on DVD. That may depend on how well Season 1 has sold.

I understand Hot Properties being cancelled, but Reunion is only a year long show so when is it being cancelled? They just showed clips for a new ep for next week.

I love both Reunion and Hot Properties and I'm shocked my former AD pals seem like they are blamming Gail and Will for Ad's cancellation..Do you think both Gail and Will had a clue Reunion and Hot Properties would be cancelled. No they didn't.

They signed on to them so they'd have a back up job if Ad was cancelled which it was. They had no clue both shows would end as well. The shows aren't failing shows. The networks that play both shows are money hungry snobs that only think the world revolves aroud phony Reality tv that isn't real anyway.

As for Ad as much as I loved it it is not returning but there is no need to blame Gail or Will for its cancellation or call Reunion and Hot Properties failing shows.

I'm disappointed here in a few people here.

Take Care

It was posted at The Reunion site at fox.com that Reunion will end February 2nd.I'm going with that because The people at the Reunion MB at fox.com are the friendliest people I have ever met to talk with about a show.

So I have to go with what was posted there.

keep sending postcards to Jeff Zucker at NBC

keep telling them that you and your friends are boycotting NBC and all of its sister stations and affiliates and will continue to do so until they bring back American Dreams

Dont give up!!

I will say it again. As much as I love AD the 3 seasons we had it and the majority of the cast. The show is done its a done deal.We all tried what we could last year when we worked our butts off to save it.Plus Gail and Will weren't the only two cast members on there,.

There were many others and they have moved on to other things probably or decided to just have regular lives outside acting.I don't know what has happened to all the others kids the little ones. But Vanessa was in two movies this Summer that were out in the theater that did pretty good.Brittany was in The Pacifier awhile back which did well.Plus she is in another movie.

I forgot the name again sorry. All I know is Sophia Bush from One Tree Hill is in it too.Maybe the other castmembers don't want to come back.Maybe they want to work on other things.Just hope the S2 and S3 will come on DVD.

Thank You I'm going to go now because I'm still disappointed.
