Default After the store hired Florida instead of James...

they laid her off after ONLY THREE DAYS because the store isn't making money like it used to? Customers aren't spending like they used to? And in the three days that Flo was there, the store happened to realize this financial problem???? That's a helluva financial report the store was able to conjure up in three days...a major dept store takes weeks, even months to figure out things like that.

Her boss could have just gotten the word from the district office about their low sales and whatnot. It's the old "last hired, first fired" deal with Florida

I could see that happening, but the man who hired her stated they were to hire more minorities, which is why Flo got the job because of her race and being a woman. The store managers would receive their "orders" to hire more minorities from the same place that tells them to lay off people due to the financial woes of the store. GT had some bad writers on the show, I feel like they wrote things and were just "blase" abt how it appeared. As if the audience was not intelligient enough to catch these crazy things.

Irene I couldnt agree with you more. You are so right. I always thought that about the writers on GT. Do they think we are stupid or something? Like we would not notice the dumb remarks, the inconsistencies with certain things, etc...

You know, here we agree, I know, I am a bitch!!!! Ha ha, no big surprise, but you know, that's the thing that irritates me the most. I feel like writers think we will accept anything they throw out at us because "it's only entertainment". But I like consistency, I like accuracy, etc.
