What is Paula Abdul singing? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

There are two songs that I have no idea what she is singing/saying. I need help. please.

In Spellbound- what is she saying before the song really starts? It sounds like, "I'm not in love, and I don't wanna be." it's like an intro to the song. Not recognized by lyric engines......

In Rock House- What is she saying in the part of the song that starts something like- "So listen powerboys".........It's actually a full verse, but is not recognized by any lyric engines.......

I'm guessing that the reason that these lyrics cannot be found when looking up lyrics is because they are more spoken than sung......

even though I liked a number of her songs, Paula is the main reason I don't take American Idol seriously. Of all singers, who is she to be the one commenting on peoples vocal stylings? It's so funny to see her telling people they can't sing when it's not like Paula exactly made it as far as she did on vocal talent alone.

Yeah, my sentiments exactly. I liked her first album, i thought of her music more as dance music rather than vocal music, but true, how can she tell others abt singing when she is no great singer herself? I wonder what Randy and Simon would say abt her singing?

true, you'll never see them having a "Paula Abdul classics" night on AI the way they have in the past for other artists.

I agree, though I did like her when she first came out. I heard some songs on the radio recently and realized she really doesn't have a good voice. My first thought was, "Wow she wouldn't even get pass the first round on AI".

What are you saying? I checked it out before I posted it here. the link gives all the lyrics to all her songs...

the next time Paula tells somebody "I don't think you have the voice that it takes to be onstage singing", I DARE somebody to play a clip from Vibeology and watch Paula run off the set in tears, lol.
