Ok, I strated on the third draft of my script, its a comedy of cours,e its about a couple who's about to be married and they meet each other's families and its crazy, his family is the really wacky one, hers couldve been cast members in the Godfather movies, howvere, the gusy grandpa was to be played by Rodney Dangerfield, I was going to write for Rodney the part was going to be as if Rodney played it, but he died. Then I thought of some others but cnat think of anyone else. Should I go for someone else or have the grandpa character be dead?

Keep the Grandfather in the script. You'll probably have to change the character a little, but if you like the character, don't change your script idea at all.

Yeah if I can find an actor that's like Rodney Dangerfield

and Bill Murray is too young, cause the main guy role is played by Ryan Reynolds, and having a grandfather be played by someone 26 years older than you wouldnt work

I agree. Just like in real life, you could have this character die also. But, if the character is too vital to the story, then keep him alive of course!
