Default My idea for Season 3 opening credits

Season 2 theme starts to play; opening title "The Munsters" is shown.

-Herman drives up real fast in the Koach, and crashes into the front wall. His hands are shaking, and "Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster" is show.

-Lily's stirring a pot, and a bunch of frogs jump out while she ducks a gets angry. And "Yvonne De Carlo as Lily" is shown.

-Grandpa is down in the dungeon mixing a small bottle with a larger bottle, there is an explosion, Grandpa flies out and lands on the rafters. And "Al Lewis as Grandpa" is shown.

-Marilyn is seen eating cookies in the living room, while a large spider comes up and pulls one of the cookies under the table. Then "Pat Priest as Marilyn" is shown. Or Debbie Watson, depending on what the Producers intended to do.

-Eddie is sleeping in his coffin, then the coffin lid opens and he pops out with his Woof Woof, then "Butch Patrick as Eddie" is shown.

With the show now going into color, the title theme sequence and closing sequence would have to be reshot in color. All credits would be a pale green color. With the same type of melted wax font a the beginning, and wacky letters during the closing.

Maybe during the closing sequence where the family is arrivng home in their cars, I could change it to show them just going up to the house, and Spot's breath bursts open the doors for them to come in.

Those sound like really cool ideas, Munsters #1. Have you ever thought of
writing for television? (No, really. Your ideas sound much better than some of the lame ones that are on the air now.)

A little bit. But, I could never really stick to it. Even as a kid, I would start one job, stop, then get to work on another job. I would never finish the job I previously started. So TV writing might not have worked out so well...
