Default I can understand why James was upset when Florida came home from work with the Cake

He was already pissed off that the Dept Store wanted Her over him and that he had to go back to the Carwash. So already being in a bad mood about not getting the job he thought he had, did James really need to see Florida come in the House SMILING with a CAKE in her hand?-lol To James , it just looked like she didn't care about him not getting the job by coming home in such a joyful mood. She was looking to thrilled to be the breadwinner and that's why he was so upset. If Florida had just came home without the cake and not smiling ear to ear, i'm sure James would have not been angry. I know if I was James I would have been pissed off too when I saw Florida with that cake-lol

Boooo! I totally disagree...would it kill him to be happy for his wife??? It's always about him"Wah,this wah, that!Poor me!"Can't he be happy for her? What a big male ego he has (but I still like him, though)

When your husband or wife is feeling down, you are not supposed to be walking around SMILING EAR TO EAR

Yes he was upset when he walked through the door and Thelma and JJ was trying to put him in a good mood. I don't think he should've still been sulking about Florida getting the job. Get over it, be happy for your wife, Or at least fake it.

Yes he was a little down but when he saw the Cake that made him more upset. James was like-"I can't believe she has the ordasity to come home Grinning with a cake in her hand and she knows what I;m going through"

IMO, he did have a right to feel bothered because he was promised that job, but he should not have been upset about that cake. He's a man. He should have gotten over it and continued looking for work. When food has to be put on a table, there is no time to sit and argue. Get up and keep looking!

I disagree, you don't come in the house GRINNING and carrying a CAKE when your man had to go back to a part-time Carwash Job. And Florida was stupid for buying the cake anyway. She buys the cake after being let go. Talking about she thought it would bring a little joy into the house-lol

He shouldn't have taken his wife to a job interview. If you think of it, James had it coming to him. He makes a fool out of her, asking the employers to find her a job in a small department, such as gift wrapping, LOL. And he was too smart himself.

Yeah I agree, That was dumb of him to take her to the job interview. But I couldn't believe what he said about his wife to the employer

"Maybe she can do something in the gift wrapping dept, that don't take no skill she will be real goosd at it" ????

But TV LAND cut the part out when Florida gets back at him.

"I sure hope your nose is in condition to push that needle down state street. Oh you can do it, it don;t take no skill"

LOL

The thing I don't understand, why was Florida smiling ear to ear when she was laid off from work. That's more bizarre than what you said Solomon.
