Does anyone remember the story about the striper that was found dead in her bedroom and then someone called the police to get her help but they couldn't figure out if he was the killer or an innocent bystander.. does anyone remember this case and are there any updates on the case?

Her name was Jamie Santos. I find it hard to believe that the caller could have been an innocent bystander. He wouldn't have happened upon her since she was found in her bedroom. I think the killer was the one who called.

So do I. Considering the details of the case, the 911 caller had to have been involved in Jamie's murder. If that was, in fact, the killer's voice, and by some chance he was pretending to be some sort of good samaritan, he certainly did a terrible job at it.

I think that's a slightly lengthier 911 tape than they played on UM. If you listen to the actual clip on crystaldawn's post, you can see what happened.

The 911 operator from Buffalo Grove broke into the conversation and told the Wheeling operator that he was calling from a location in Buffalo Grove. The caller hesitantly confirmed that by saying, "yeah" but he was undoubtedly shook up they already knew that. At that point the Wheeling operator asked what he was doing at the house and the caller quickly said bye, and no doubt split the scene pronto.

He had willingly stayed on the phone, relaying info such as Stonehedge "like a bush," so you've got to think they might have been able to keep him a bit longer and perhaps locate him if the Buffalo Grove operator hadn't been so impatient and changed the track of the conversation.

No doubt he was the guilty party. I generally default to probability and in this case it's an avalanche in that regard.
