how many of you would have liked to see "cast commercials" done on the show?
For those who don't know, in the 50s and 60s, cast members of TV shows had to do at least 1 commercial that was shown during the show, for the shows sponsor (or one of their sponsors, since some shows had 2 or 3).
Unfortunetaly, this practice had ended by the time "MASH" started.

clerk: "Madam, those are rubies."
Granny: "OK ask her kin we buy one offa her."
clerk: " The ruby I am talking about is not a lady."
Granny: "Lissen, how she got them diamonds is her business. I'm just sayin' ask her kin we buy one from her."
