go to Africa, yet, the love of her life Larry only wanted her to go to California and she couldn't go there with Larry? From the time these Ibe episodes appreared, it hadn't even been six months from when she was with Larry. What is up with that? Thelma could go to Africa, half a world and culture away, but she couldn't go with Larry.

She hadn't matured SOOOO MUCH either. She didn't want to marry him, only live with him and then BOOM she wanted to get married.

me too, I liked Larry alot. I couldn't stand Ibe, not a very good looking guy either. Just didn't make sense for her to go to Africa, BUT NOT California??? dumb. Dumb writers.
