Default Surprised with one of the tag scenes of season 5

I'm not too sure which episode that it was with season 5, but there was a tag scene that I'd never thought I'd see. This tag scene had 'Jack' talking to 'Chrissy' on the phone, boy was I ever shocked to see that! I thought that I had read somewhere(maybe I'm mistaken) that John had refused to do phone scenes with Susanne being with the situation at that time. What's everyone's opinion on this one?

I saw it and was surprised he didn't appear so angry. I mean, I know it was acting, but I thought I remember hearing that John found it very hard not to show his tension towards her. I could definately see it in " A Hundred Dollars a What?" I thought it was an OK tag scene. Not the funniest....but, yea, it was still good to see

The first episode I saw was "Make Room For Daddy" so that I could see the Jack and Chrissy phone scene. I'm sure it was difficult not to show the tension on screen, but remember, Suzanne taped the phone scenes before John or Joyce taped theirs, so it wasn't as if they were actually communicating with her on the phone. Plus, John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt were great actors and they did an excellent job at concealing their anger on screen, IMO.

I thought that both John and Joyce did a great job in "A Hundred Dollars A What?". I didn't really notice any tension. The only thing I noticed (but I noticed this AFTER I learned about the Suzanne Somers contract dispute) was that John and Joyce don't really make direct eye contact with Suzanne in this episode.

I saw Jack on the phone with Chrissy for the first time last night and I was really shocked. I never thought John would really do a tagscene with Suzanne. I know he was very mad at her. But he did an excellent job at not showing any anger. John is an excellent actor.

That he was and always will be. I still can't believe that I'm using the word 'was' talking about John.

Although, in the episode of 'A Hundred Dollars A What'?, John did in a way make eye contact with Susanne in the scene when he was wrapping the b-day gift for his Mom. But I could tell in that scene, the tention that there was with John.

I just don't understand why that Phone scene with Chrissy and Jack was cut out of syndication. Very Strange but atleast we finally got to see it.

Yea that would have been nice. I wish the producers would have explained why Chrissy never came back because her mother had the longest illness it sitcom history. lol

Actually in one of the episodes, Chrissy says her mother is doing well Health wise. So then that would lead to the question=-"Why was she still there?

Jenilee Harrison guest starred on Suzanne Somers sitcom SHE'S THE SHERIFF in 1988. Don Knotts also appears in this episode. I've been searching for it a long time. It seems like no one has it.

I think she stopped doing phone scenes about the same time the producers finally cut her the deal which ended the entire thing. Suzanne I believe was making the same amount per show that she decided to show up for as the others, so they finally just paid her off to go away for good. (am I right?)

I need to buy the Chris Mann book!!
