Default I just bought my season 5 DVD and the cashiers were laughing at my choice-lol

I put the DVd on the counter and the cashier showed the other cashier and they were acting surprised I was buying Three's company. But I wasn;t ashamed at all because I started laughing with them and told them I'm a diehard Three'e Company fan and doesn't care who thinks it's silly. And before i left I told them they should give the show a try. No one is ever going to make be feel bad about what I LIKE!!!!

The same thing happened to me too, Soloman...a young girl working at the register at FYE was trying to hide her laughter when I asked for it. WTF? I just thought to myself that she doesn't know what she's missing

My mom even makes fun of me for liking three's company-lol. She feels it's a FEMALE show kind of like Friends.

There was a time when my sister came over checking out my dvd collection, and when she came across Three's Company she said "Three's Company???" as if what are you doing with that show? Some people out there just don't know it's a classic show with a large fanbase.

You were a closet TC fan to me because I never knew you liked the show. Probably because I never saw you post on the TC board.

That's true I don't post on the board that often, but I do love the show. Same with the Jeffersons and What's Happening, I don't post on those boards much. It's a habit. I'll try to show up on the TC board more often.

Well I'm surprised that she laughed because if she is that young she would have never heard of three's company. Like my little brother was born in 87,never heard of three's company.

that's crazy...obviously it must have been a young cashier. Man, Three's Company was THEE SHOW of the 70's. And I was so glad when it came out on syndication. I got to see it again and again. My daughters think the show is cute.

I agree. And to all who had a problem getting your copy of 'Three's Company', don't pay any attention to any of those cashiers. Although, I bet if you were getting something like 'Sex In The City', or 'Friends', they wouldn't be laughing. I myself, find those kind of shows, senceless.

I haven't picked up the DVD yet but I can't believe all those cashiers. I am 16 and I have been watching Three's Company since I was like 12. I don't get how you could not have heard of it before. I will be getting a job at Best Buy and I won't give people a funny look when they buy it, chances are I will start a conversation with them if nobody is behind them in line. On the other hand if somebody bought the OC or Nip Tuck I would give them a weird look. I am with you Auntie senseless.

Some people in our generation are sadly misguided. I'm 18 and I've been watching TC since I was 12. It happens to be my FAVORITE show of all time! I'll be getting my DVD tomorrow after I get my paycheck, lol.

I have never had a cashier laugh at any DVD I have ever bought. For one thing it is very rude. And I never thought of TC as a female show. When I was in school it was the show to watch and believe me, their was just as many Male fans as Female.

i agree DallsCowboysFanatic...it's very rude to laugh at somebody for their choice of what they are buying. It's not your business. But anyway! I can't wait to get it too! It's going to be great!
