Wink The best Lotto scratch off tickets!

I have bought a lot of scratch off tickets, and I have come to realize that the best scratch off tickets is Payday Bonus. That game is fairly easy. Just get three moneybags in a row or diaganolly and you win. The prizes go from 1.00, ,TICKET(The two WORST prizes), 2.00, 5.00, 10.00, 50.00, 100, 250.00, 500.00, 1,500. The BONUS is if you see a dollar symbol, you win 25.00 It IS heartwrenching when you scratch off a 1,500, only to see two moneybags and another number for all the rows. I HATE the 1.00 prize the most because that just means that you got the dollar that you spent on the ticket back. I hate TICKET too, but not as much as I hate 1.00. At least with TICKET, you have a chance of winning big with the new ticket you won....

Gold Rush. I HATE this game because I spend 20.00 each ticket and I have NEVER won anything from it. I'm thinking if you are spending 20.00 on this ticket, there'd better be SOMETHING in it. The only gaurantee with this dreadful game is that the odds are 1 in 2.98, aprroximately 1 in 3. I haven't been on the lucky side with this Gold Rush. I have spent maybe 80.00 on Gold Rush . I would be better off getting 80 Payday tickets! At least I've won money from it before.

I am going to make a promise on this board right now. I promise to keep at least a little money from whatever I win. Like if I win 2.00, I will keep 1.00. 5.00=2.00. 10.00=3.00, and so on.(The unsaved money goes back to gambling). Because I have won money from scratch off's, and I have put all the won money right back into gambling. The real cake came when I bought a 2.00 ticket, and got a dollar sign worth 50.00. What did I do? Instead of taking some money out of the 50.00, like 25.00 or 30.00 to keep for myself, I ended up spending all of the 50.00 on more Lotto tickets, and regretted it immeadiately. Here is what I should have done. Bought 10 Payday Bonuses(1.00), one Jumbo Jackpot(5.00) one Super Jackpot(2.00), one Holiday Package(2.00) and one Winning Score(1.00) But no, I had to blow all of the 50.00 on Lotto Tickets. I would still have had 30.00 to take home.

And steering this ship on-topic

To the original poster: Most members of this forum won't know what you're talking about as far as specific tickets, as they vary state by state.

That said, rather than do the "keep half of what you win", how about you do this:

Every time you feel like playing the lotto, put the money you would have spent in a jar.

At the end of a month, count your money. After that, spend your earnings on something nice for yourself. You'll probably have wound up saving more money than you would have won.

I've figured out how to win with those scratch off Lotto tickets . The trick is: You look at the odds, then buy the "odds" numbers. For example, if you get a Lotto ticket, that says, 1 in 3.98, buy 4 tickets of the same thing, because you are almost(98.99) percent to get ast least a little something for the tickets. Yesterday, I bought four 1.00 scratch off tickets of the same kind(Big tip: MUST be the same kind), and I realized that I got nothing after scratching four tickets. I was like, "Shouldn't I have gotten something? Then, I decided to spend my last dollar on another scratch off ticket. As I scratched off a ticket, I realized something "wrong" with this ticket. It had a prize that I had never seen before, then I scratched somemore, and realized I had won $25.00! I was happy that I had thrown my last dollar to buy this ticket, and I ended up with 20.00 more than I had cam in with!

Whoops, yesterday, I bought five of those tickets again, and guess what? I didn't win a thing! Well, they were all HIGH prizes anyway(one was over 1,000), so why did I think I would win? if it were a 2.00 or a 5.00 prize ticket, I'd have had MUCH better luck.
