Is this a hoax? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watching Lost tonight and there was a message that scrolled on the bottom of the screen that said that in a few weeks, TWC will not air any more ABC programming. Has anyone else heard anything about that? Is it a hoax? I hope not because I have TWC and I would hate to switch to another cable company.

I have not seen anything Time Warner Cable's web site or anywhere online. Tomorrow I'm going to post the message that was scrolling on the bottom.

It's a hoax... they will lose almost every subscriber they have if they drop ABC.

I just went on Channel 10's web site (an ABC affiliate here) and it is confirmed. It's not a hoax.

Looks to be just for your local TWC and not every TWC in the nation.

It's now updated to say that they reached a deal with TWC and that there will be no interruptions in programming.

Dish Network did that to us with all the Viacom stations (ie CBS) awhile back. Apparently these stations are trying to get as much moolah as they can, despite the fact that they're not worth it.
