All those hams at Jame's funeral - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I noticed (and I'm suer that everyone noticed too) that majority of the guests at jame's funeral brought hams.

My question: is there a cultural significance b/t getting a ham & death OR was the whole ham thing just a little sumthin-sumthin for the show?

I don't know but they should have had turkeys instead of ham. They could have lightened the moment with somebody someone them to a jive turkey.
