Omg....numbness is the only way to describe it.

First off---I am beyond thrilled that Rory is back!

Second---I don't feel very good about the upcoming episodes for LL. I have faith in ASP that it'll all be good in the end, but I'm expecting some drama for a while.

And Luke's daughter....I'm numb.

I really liked this week's episode. Very nice to see Rory and Lorelai have patched things up. I really liked how Rory took charge and got a job at that newspaper. Alexsis showed a spark in Rory I have never seen before. Great work.

I wasn't very happy about the idea of Luke discovering he is a Dad, but things were done very well in this epsiode, and like the rest of you , I cannot wait to see what happens.

Why do I have a feeling something bad is going to happen?

A quick summary (I only watched it once, though, so someone can correct me if I'm wrong about any of it):

Luke paid the guys extra to finish the house early, and surprises Lorelai with it. He also surprises her with putting his grandmother's antique bedroom set in the bedroom, which Lorelai hates, but hides it at first so she doesn't hurt his feelings. Then, Sookie and Jackson come over for dinner, and Chris calls and leaves a message, which Lorelai is listening to when Luke walks in. Luke gets upset, and accuses Lorelai of having some sort of relationship with Chris. Then, they fight about it during dinner, Luke leaves and goes to the diner, Lorelai follows him, and they make up....very nicely, I might add. Luke tells Lorelai that they have to tell each other everything for their relationship to work. He agrees to getting rid of the bedroom set.

Rory moves in with Lane, searches for a job, and calls an editor at the Stamford-Gazette for a reference. He tells her that he did like her work, so Rory goes to Stamford and begs him for a job until he gives it to her.

A 12 year old girl, April, shows up at the diner and asks for some of Luke's hair for a paternity DNA test for her school science fair. Luke goes to the fair, and April tells him that he's her father.

Rory calls Lorelai and tells her that she got a job at the Stamford-Gazette, and is going back to Yale next semester. Lorelai tells Rory to come home, and Rory is pulling into the driveway just a moment later, since she was already on her way. They hug, Rory apologizes, tells her that she loves her, and they make up.

Lorelai runs into the diner, tells Luke the good news, and then says that they can plan the wedding date and get married now. She runs out again, and it ends with Luke staring with an "oh crap, how am I going to tell her?" look on his face.

I hope the summary was helpful!
