How much longer does TBS have the rights to Saved By The Bell? It's been there since the fall of 1992. I absolutly love this show. I'm asking because it airs 4 times a day. In order. The years go by so fast. And they even air them on saturday mornings...in order from the one's from the week. Are they just putting it on for an extra hour a day, because they're getting something new?

TBS used to have California Dreams on in the '90's. It was on at 4 and SBTB at 5. I remember i used to watch it after school.

They starting airng it in the Fall of 1992 i believe. Yeah, ;92. THe show itself went into local syndication in 1991. It aired on my WB/WPIX network then.

Crap. If that's the case, I'd better be sure to record the Miss Bliss episodes next time they air just in case they never get released on DVD. I recently saw a few of them, and I liked them much more than I thought I would. (I hadn't seen those eps in ages) I was going to record and keep the eps I saw, but figured they would air many, many times on TBS in the future. Now I'm not sure if they will even air once more... :-/ I hope so...

Anyone know if TBS plans on keeping the show? It has been a staple on the channel for so many years, I'll be sad to see it go. I wonder who would pick it up next?

Yeah, I'm gonna record all the miss bliss episodes too.(Just in case they don't air again and again)....Saved By The Bell will probably be thrown in a vault somewhere with shows like Wonder Years, Blossom, and California Dreams. Although it would be good on The-N. ANd even on Nick@Nite, following Full House. If they put it on either of those channel's, they better show EVERY episode. Starting with miss bliss/SBTB/College.

With the amount they air this show, it must still be a draw for them, so I would have to think that they would have some interest in keeping it around.

Then again, it's really the only 1990s sitcom left on TBS. Five years ago, they had shows like Home Improvement, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Full House, Family Matters, Coach, etc, etc daily. SBTB is the only really "old school" sitcom left on the network now. That's probably not a good sign.

I think TBS might renew the rights, but if they don't, I have a feeling Nick might pick up the show. "Saved by the Bell" has been on Nick for nearly a decade in the UK, I'm sure it will do as well in their US channel.

It's been on TBS for a long time, even when they were still making new episodes. TBS is their home away from home, so I don't see it going anywhere. They play the episodes more than any other show they have so I think it draws in a lot of viewers. I don't see it going anywhere, but if it does I will need to find someone to record the Miss Bliss episodes for me. I have a few episodes, but they're really bad quality.
