Default 8.09 - Hulkus Pocus Airs November 20

Written by Liz Sagal
Directed by Joel Feigenbaum
Air Date:11/20/05

The help of Charmed Ones is enlisted by Agent Murphy (Brandon Quinn) when a demon escapes from the government's custody. They discover that a government-created virus is spreading amongst magical beings causing them to "hulk out." After Billie is scratched by a demon and becomes infected with the virus, Piper and Leo race against time to find an antidote to save her life. The sisters realize the only way to save Billie is to become infected with the virus and turn into "hulked out" versions of themselves. Meanwhile, Paige is put in charge of watching a baby when one of Henry's (Ivan Sergei) parolees is busted. Phoebe reflects on her failed premonition about having a baby.

Is Ivan Sergei going to be a regular on the show? I've always liked him for some reason

I don't think so. I think he was supposed to be in 6 episodes or something.

Well, you just answered my post elsewhere on this message board. I thought
that looked like Ivan Sergei of JACK AND JILL but wasn't sure. I haven't seen
that show in about five years.

Wow, this was a really good episode, so many things happened. But since some people havent seen it yet...ill put it in spoiler code.

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
I WAS SO SCARED BILLIE WAS GONNA DIE! I was gonna cry lol. I knew she was gonna be on the whole season but Iwas still scared. AND THAT BABY WAS ADORABLE! I thought Phoebe was gonna adopt it . Anyway yeah, this was probably one of the best episodes of the season, am I the only one who thought the sisters looked hilarious as trolls?

And beware for spoilers of next week in my next part of this post (its just from the previews)

THEY BETTER NOT BE SERIOUS ABOUT NEXT WEEK! They are, I know. BUT THERES HALF A SEASON LEFT, THEY COULDNT HAVE KEPY HIM FOR LIKE, 15 MORE EPISODES OR WHATEVER?!?!?! Oh sure, budget cuts, maybe there wouldn't BE budget cuts if they didnt add useless characters on for the first 5 episodes of the season *coughDexcough*. I was about to cry when I saw the preview. HOW COULD YOU KILL HIM OFF SO QUICKLY?!?! At least show some respect for him and make it a two-parter.

Good job on the spoilers there, Joseph

I don't think he'll die. They wouldn't kill him. And Brad Kern has said that he fought to keep Leo but the WB wanted him gone -_-

Why would the WB want Brian Krause (Leo) gone? I think he is great. He and
Piper (Holly Marie Combs) have a great chemistry together, and -- being the
only male lead in a show dominated by three -- correction, four -- females has
put a big responsiblility on his shoulders that, I think, he has carried off very
well. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Everyone loves Leo, and we all want him stay. However, he has almost no storyline this year. If you notice he basically just hangs around the house, and has no real meaningful storyline purpose this season.

I liked last night's episode. It was creepy seeing the Charmed ones as the female version of the hulk.

The previews from next week show that Leo might be killed off. I thought I read somewhere Brian Krause was only going to be in a few episodes? so that might be why he is being killed off? I'm not really sure.

However awesome the episode last night was, the ratings didn't exactly hulk out, in the overnights anyway. As reported by Mediaweek.com the episode averaged a mediocre 3.2/5 in the overnights. The fast national ratings, however, were an entirely different story, as the episode brought in the best ratings in that category in a very long time. Zap2it.com says that Charmed averaged a solid 2.8/4. Fast Nationals are due tomorrow, so come back then to see what the truth is...

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the final ratings for this weeks episode. My usual source is down
