Default "Greg Gets Grounded" observation

Anyone else notice that the tag sequence is missing in this episode on the DVD set?

IE. It goes from the squares indivdually coming up one by one...then fades to black...then goes right to the credits without a closing scene.

Was there ever a tag sequence for this episode?

Billy,

I included the tag scene dialogue which is an exchange between Greg, Mike, and Carol in the master bedroom. (It should be in our big SCENES NO LONGER AIRED THREAD.) Greg asks Mike and Carol if he can forget about living by exact words and Mike agrees. That's the tag,

Someone said that this is included but on the DVD there is no fade to black. The DVD goes right from the drive in scene to Mike and Carol in bed with Greg coming in shortly thereafter. So, one might think that the tag is missing, but I understand it's not. It is just syncronized differently on the DVD.

On the version that I have taped from Sky TV we fade from a scene in the car to a scene with Carol, Mike and Greg in the master bedroom. To Carol, Mike says 'I'll give you a kiss.' A music cue starts and the scene fades to black and then the credits start. I think the squares were cut. No tag though. Perhaps it was a one off. Perhaps the bedroom scene was meant to be the tag but someone edited it.

I remember the theme park episode from season five didn't have the squares. In the version I have the screen froze as the Bradys were sat on the ride and the music played over a long static shot until the music ended and the scene faded to black. Then we got the tag I think in which Peter borrowed the costume?

Guys,

Click here and scroll down some for the dialoge tag on "Greg Get's Grounded."

PS. Can't recall if I have it posted above so I am reproducing it here. If the link doesn't work, just copy it into the address box in your browser.

Yes...

The scene with Greg, Carol & Mike talking about his date with Rachel, then talking about forgetting about the "exact words" thing, Greg then leaves and Mike & Carol do their thing....exact words.
Then it just goes to the squares .....then credits.

So on the DVD it fades from the drive-in sequence (ie. Greg's date) >> the bedroom sequence > Squares - fade to black > Credits.

Maybe they edited the drive in sequence together with the bedroom sequence removing the squares...
