I've already installed McAfee before, and whenever I download virus scans, you have to pay to delete the viruses they found. So does anyone know any good virus protectors that you don't have to pay to get them fixed? I am in desperate need.

Hey there,
Since I don't have any virus protection ( well, you know...expensive ones...) I usually use AVG virus scan. I think my Mom found it at www.download.com Or you just type it into a search and find it that way....type in AVG Free Virus protection or something along those lines to a yahoo or google search...it scans viruses every morning for me, whether or not I'm online. I also use a free program called Ad-Aware to zap spyware. I got that at www.download.com by typing in Ad-Aware in to their search for software. |

I suggest Avast. I am very happy with it! Haven't had a virus problem since I downloaded it!

AVG is good....Especially for someone who cant afford to go buy expensive anti-virus programs like me.

I have AVG on my laptop. Good program. Updates every time I log on to the net.
