On the 4th season when they go to Hawaii Mike walks off the plane with curly hair these Hawaii episodes were the first 3 of season 4.
On the 4th show Today I Am A Freshman Mike has straight hair
If the 4th show is actually The Freshman Show how did his hair straighten out then go back to curly in the 5th show Cyrano De Brady

He had a perm, that turned out to be not so perm!
