Default Did the episode of What's Happening Now Dee and Dwayne come on during the marathon?

I was wondering if it came on TVLand because I checked the info of all the episodes that came on and can't remember if that was one of them.

The person was asking if the What's Happening Now episode with Dee and Dwayne going on a date aired on TV LAND last weekend. The answer is No.

That's a shame, because that was the best episode.

Dwayne should have never taken his best friend's litle sister out on a date.

It wasn't like they were kids any more, they were adults.

The thing that makes it odd is it looked like Dwayne was waiting for her to get older so she can go out with him-lol That's like me having a friend who had a sister who was 9 years younger than me and him so I remember her being 9 and 10 years old and I'm 19 and then all of a sudden when she turns 20 and I'm 30 I'm taking her out-lol

Dwayne was the youngest though so there was only like a five year difference since he was closer in age to Dee than Raj and Rerun

Lightbulb No, it did not...but it was the best episode!

Unfortunately, that particular episode, "Dee and Dwayne" didn't show during the marathon...and I was SO looking forward to that one, too!

Anyhow, I agree with Erika H on the fact that Dwayne and Dee weren't that far apart in age (perhaps 5 years max between 'em), and so it was cool that they kinda struck up that harmless romance between them!
(Even though, of course, Dwayne wanted to just remain the "big brother type" to Dee, and not her lover; and Dee wanted it to be more than that...but in the end, she understood where Dwayne was coming from...)
Also, if you kinda notice in the final season of WH, when Dee matures into a teen and Dwayne comes around/hangs out with Raj and them, she slowly pays close attention to Dwayne...it's true!
She had it for him way before the WHN episode when he took her out to see Tina Turner!
I've watched my Season 3 DVD's of WH and can honestly come to that conclusion!

Mmmm-hmm!

Question Of COURSE... :>)

I agree with Retro in that Dwayne did the right thing by letting Dee down easy. Everything worked out for the best in the end, anyways...of COURSE! LOL

Anyhow, it all goes back to what I've been saying about Dee and Dwayne: while Dee was a maturing teen, within WH, it was kinda clear to even a blind man's eyes & senses that she began carrying crush-style feelings for Dwayne.
I mean, look at the end of WH Season 2, very last episode, "The Apartment"!
When Dwayne sits on the couch at Mama's house, dressed all suave following Raj & Rerun's graduation ceremony, Dee sits on the arm of the couch kinda close to Dwayne and keeps grinning & chuckling to herself meanwhile...she also gives Dwayne a flirtatious grin, while standing behind Mama and Raj in that particular episode!
Pretty neat, huh?

Who could blame Dee for having a crush on Dwayne...he was a cutie-pie during WH.

That is quite an agreeable fact & a half, Nykki...well put!
Dwayne was just about the best-looking character on the show (both in WH and WHN), hands-down!

Oh yeah...he was so cute on What's Happening Now too! There's a pic of him somewhere on this board, and when I saw it, I couldn't believe how cute he still is now.

...the thread called "Haywood Nelson...what a hottie...see pic", etc.
It's there, and he kinda resembles John Amos as he gets older and "prettier w/age"!
