Daisy was no doubt the apple of all the male viewer's eyes, but I always thought her attire was a little strange. Why the panty hose all the time. What about bare legs? And although she was a country girl, I never saw her go barefoot, she was always in high heels.

Cuz back then that was the look, I know it's ridiculous, but that's how it was. Kinda like the NFL cheerleaders...Jessica on the other hand, doesn't need nylons because her legs are already "tanned".

Catherine talked about the panty hose, saying that had she worn those shorts with her bare legs showing, it would've been too risque. A lot of feminists were up in arms about her character anyway, so they insisted that she at least wear the hose.
