i may have missed something but how is it that she was pregnant in the season premiere of the 7th season but didnt have the baby until halloween of the 8th season? what did i miss where she explained this?

Well.. they never did explain it, but the pregnancies on the show sure were either too short or too long..
Crystal was pregnant for TWO months during season 4.. (announced it in "Bingo", gave birth in "Deliverance"), Jackie was pregnant for like six months during season 6, Darlene had a premature baby despite being pregnant for like 10 months (if I remember correctly).. but Roseanne was the worst with 1 year.

Yeah they could have written Jackie's pregnancy in a little early because you could tell that Laurie was pregnant she was showing big time. And they were having her wear those big flannel shirts and coats, and that did nothing but highlight her tummy. I never realized that Roseanne was pregnant on there for a whole yr until you mentioned it.
