As Red and Kitty celebrate their 25th anniversary, Kelso gets bitten by the marriage bug and decides to propose to Jackie. But Vic, a sketchy fast-talker with a bad toupee, makes Kelso a job offer he cannot refuse. Meanwhile, Donna is disappointed that Eric hasn’t reached out and touched her from Africa.

The show is becoming a train wreck.
Now we get Eric being bashed and made into a bad guy- even though he is not there and we know he is not coming back. I hate with a passion when shows continue to interact with characters that have left- like they are still around- by talking about them in the present time, phone calls, letters, whatever. They should have just started the season saying Eric and Donna decide to call it quits. No bogus tapes and letters to Africa or any phone calls or nonsense. It is so insulting. I'm done with the show when Kelso leaves. |

WELL SAID! IT really shouldv'e been the end last season but with the whole Randy thing happening, and Kelso/Eric omitted from the show, I'd stick to watching my DVD's. It's really sad to see this once good show turn de-railed!!!! But yeah, I'll get season 3 when it comes out this Tuesday.

I didn't really like this episode...really hasty and lame. I wish Kelso would've gotten a better send-off ( he's one of my favorite characters besides Red and Eric ).
I miss Topher and Ashton

I actually thought this was one of the best episodes in years.
I thought the send-off was actually very well done. The burn at the end was classic Kelso, but the moments leading up to it were actually fantastic and very warm. And this is actually a logical reason for Kelso to leave. Dumb? Sure, but it builds off of the police stuff, and that's important. Continuity is great. I think Randy is a fine character who has enormous potential. It's hard filling the shoes he's filling, but even in a limited role, I think he looks the part and acts it well. Jackie has taken so many steps forward since the sixth and half of the seventh season. I'm so glad that she's not only focused on rich men and beauty. Remember for a while that every word out of her mouth was "rich" or something stupid. She feels almost real again. And I think I like Donna more than ever. Glad to see Fez is slightly more Fezzy, too. He'd descended into silliness, now he's just silly. There's a difference. I can't say that I miss Topher at all. I was watching season six and seven reruns and it's amazing how lame that character got. He was just brutal to watch and Topher's apathy showed through as early as season six. The character was the first to run its course and the writers just didn't bother reviving it. And it's a shame, too, because Eric was wonderful for the first four years. So yeah, thumbs up for me. |

I really liked this episode. The Alfred Hitchcock cliffhanger that kelso had given us is real classic. I really hope that they can change the look for the show even though it is all but far too late. But I still have faith in this show despite Ashton and Topher leaving.
But at least some of the charecters are showing some good improvement that makes this show a bit more watchable for me at least. Randy seems a bit stiff at first but I think he's getting a hand of things. Jackie seems to be more eccentric and snooty like a spoiled rich girl. Donna seems to be more at close to Eric even though he's been out for quite some time. But the biggest change that I see is Fez. He seems to be more silly and funny in a way as he was in seasons 1-5. Fez looks more reserved in season 6 and a bit silly in season 7 but this is a big improvement in season 8. Good job guys!

I personally hate this season. Hyde seems empty Donna is about to go off the deep end in upcoming epidsodes. Jackie isn't growing up at all.
