Default Howard Stern

E-mail I sent to the Howard Stern show:
Quote:
Hello Howard. I really, really think that you should go talk to your bosses At infinity right now or after your show ends and tell them that you want to quit because there is no need for you to do the 21 remaining live radio shows. I think you be better off if they fire you now and stop the bashing of your employer. I hope you really think about this and don't get yourself into more trouble with the company. Walk away before 12/16 while you have the chance.
Your thoughts on Stern suspended for one day, etc.,

To Howard: Whatever the outcome, I have my Sirius and I am waiting for you to BE YOURSELF without all that stupid hoopla from your soon to be EX BOSSES.

I want Howard to stay until December 16th.
Since things are winding down, he's been doing a lot of remeniscing; playing old bits, bringing in alot of old friends and guests, and they've been reliving some of the best momets of the show.
Today he said that the last two or three weeks of the show (post Thanksgiving) will be devoted to the best events of his last 20 years at KRock in New York. It's going to be an awsome trip down memory lane.

Firing him would be a mistake in business terms. If they fired him now, they would lose a lot of money from the advertising.

I don't think so. To be honest with you, they got enough money to last them the rest of the year. the 27 stations that air Stern can air their own local programming until their new shows start and promote their new morning shows on radio and TV and billboard ads if they want to but I'm tired of Stern and Infinity, they need to be apart.

Let him stay, I need to enjoy my last few days of Howard.

I like him and at all, but I don't think he's worth a Sirius subscription. I have an iPod, I have no need for satellite radio. I think I'll be fine with Adam Corolla, plus 97.1 still has Frosty, Heidi and Frank.

I love the triplets, they are funny as hell...LOL
I enjoy satellite radio because there are no commercials and I hear one damn good song after another. Stuff I haven't heard in years. I already had XM, but for my car, I got Sirius so I can hear Howard the way he should be heard. There's alot more to satellite radio than Howard.

I've heard it on Allan Sniffen's "Board Reflections" today that he was talking about Howard Stern being suspended by Infinity (Viacom's divison) for a day discussing about promoting Sirius Satellite Radio. As of right now, he is not fired. He would stay at Infinity until the next 6 weeks for his departure. I don't get Sirius Satellite Radio. I'm not really a fan of Howard Stern. E! ended his TV version from his radio show last summer.

Even if I liked Howard, I wouldn't get Sirius. I have XM and I think that is much better than Sirius.

Howard is one of those guys that I have tried to like and get into but just couldn't.

I feel like I'm getting older now.

Two years ago I would have completely agreed with Howard about censorship, but now I think he's acting quite childish. There is more to radio than airing two midgets having orgasms.

I'm definately not getting Sirius now. I'm getting XM at home thanks to DirecTV-- at no extra charge.
