Question Did Shirley Temple wear braces?

It appeared that Cindy wore braces in "The Snooperstar"! (Check out the scenes of her in her yellow dress before she dressed as Shirley.)

Funny, we never got to hear her lament, "I'm ugly ... ugly ... UGLY!!!" and bawl like her sister Marcia!

I always think how great it would have been if Susan had done the Shirley thing in the 2nd or 3rd season as she would have really pulled off looking like a dead ringer for Shirley!! If only they had thought of doing this then as of course by the 5th season Susan was too old and she looks kinda silly in the Shirley getup wearing the Heidi dress and having the curls.

Cindy and Bobby both had braces before the shows end, yet they seemed to take it alot better than Marcia ever could. Maybe they learned a lesson from her.

According to Barry Williams, that script was intended for the first or second season, and they dusted it off during the 5th season because of a shortage of scripts.

I do think that Bobby's braces looked kinda cute, something he needed at that point as he was on the verge of entering puberty.

As far as I know, Cindy's and Bobby's braces were never mentioned on the show so I guess it could be argued that Cindy and Bobby didn't have braces, they just happened to be played by kids who wore braces.

This could be the start of a really dumb argument, but I'll pass!
