Default Why is it that Vanessa's fast talking friend only talked FAST when she was around....

Cliff or Clair or both?-lol If you noticed, she never ever talked like that when she was just around Vanessa and the other girls. The real question is who idea was it to include a character like that?=-lol Damm she was a weirdo

Notice, in a Different World, they added in the last season (i believe) that fast talking girl, Charmaine, i think that's the character's name. What is up with Cosby shows having fast talking characters? That is annoying as hell. Reminds me of the damn commercials where you hear the announcer speak 200 mph during the disclaimers.

That fast talking girl was Cara. I thought she was funny and made her presence known. She did talk fast around others, like Kenny. She talked fast around Janet and Vanessa as well. I do remember. There are times where she would hardly say anything because all the girls had dialogue together, but when she would go off on a tangent to others and I think that is what made her funny.

She NEVER talked fast when Her and Vanessa and the other girl was hanging out, it was only when they were around other people hich made her character corny. When she was around Vanessa and Janet, she talked normal

Solomon the fast talkin girl you're talkin about, i don't know her real name but i saw her in The Jacksons An American Dream movie. Her character liked Tito Jackson in the movie and she married him. She's cute. Her character on The Cosby Show didn't bother me.

I don't know why I have to bring this up almost two years later, but I'm a die hard Michael Jackson fan, and I love "The Jacksons, An American dream", so here it goes. That character in Jacksons An American dream is Dolores "DeeDee" Martez. She was married to Michael Jackson's brother Tito, and they had three sons, the 3T. DeeDee was actually murdered by a boyfriend she had after her divorce from Tito.

No, Solomon is wrong. Tito's ex-wife "DeeDee" was indeed murdered by a former boyfriend who was demanding money from her.

But I saw her credits on imdb. She just finished some movie or documentary in 2006. Did this happen recently? I liked Solomon's answer better.
