Cathryn Damon and Richard Mulligan both won an emmy in 1980 for Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a comedy series. Katherine Helmond was nomintaed several times but i think she deserved an emmy but at least she got a golden globe for her performance. Robert Gulliaume (Benson) won an emmy for SOAP and one for Benson his own show.

I miss Cathryn Damon and Richard Mulligan every day its sad that there gone. Cathryn worked up until the end practically. If both were still alive the could have a soap reunion but i read that they were going to after the series ended and the reunion was planned for 1984 or so. But Susan Harris didnt want to do it.Anyone have any Cathryn Damon pics i need some for my webpage im building about SOAP .i have cast photos with her thats it.

that's news to me! i knew that Richard passed away...when did Cathryn and what caused it?

Cathryn Damon passed away in 1987, I believe. She was in her early 50s, I think, and she had cancer just like Richard Mulligan.
