Default Three's Company with black actors/actresses...

I love the imagination you guys have.

If they were to make a black version of Three's company, what actors and actresses would you pick for the cast?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!-LOL I was going to say Hangin with Mr. Cooper too. But then again not really because Mark was related to one of the girls. Plus it there was kids on the show and you never really saw children on Three's Company.

This might be too much of a coincidence, but on the 10:30 pm est show of the What's Happenning marathon on TV Land , Rerun got a job with ABC and had access to the clothes on all the ABC shows. Well you guested it Rerun showed off some TC attire....and later followed a daydream scence were he was Jack, Daniele Spencer as Janet, Duane (with blonde wig and pink nightgown )as Chrissy, Rog as Mr Roper, and Shirley( with redwig and digs) as mrs roper. The apt was scripted like TC.....very funny skit//////I hope most of you caught it. My guess its from a later season- 3 or beyond.

Actually, the What's Happening episode was from the third and final season (1978 - 1979); coincidentally that happened to be Three's Company's third season also.

Haha! Yeah! Great minds think alike!

I don't know where I heard that it was supposed to be the Black Three's Company...perhaps on E!? Not sure...but I have heard it said before. Although, you are right. There are striking differences...Mark's being related to one of the girls, and hooking up with Vanessa. And then the kids, and the annoying neighbor kid.

Actually, HWMC's first season is really a black TC. The show was changed around in the second season.

Why did Robin leave by the way (was that her name?) anyway?

I'm not sure if we can call HWMC the Black TC even in season 1 because of Mark and Robin being related. If they were not related then yes it would have
