This is for events and people of Sitcoms Online that should be recognized. They are not in any order. Feel free to add some, since I didn't come close to a hundred.
1. TJ Creating Sitcoms Online - None of us would be here if not for him. It's a great place to come to and we all owe thanks to TJ. 2. Pavanbadal - He's the man with all the info. The only person here that I trust when it comes to news. 3. The Death of John Ritter - That tragic moment when John Ritter passed away was a BIG deal here at the message board. I remember almost every post was about the late Ritter. I knew I could come here and grieve with everyone and that was special to me. 4. Wings Comes to Nick at Nite - It may have bombed in the ratings, but when N@N brought the "Modern TV Classic" to their network it affected the "Wings" board. It had regular posters already, but many more joined. Everyone on the "Wings" board is nice. And when the show was treated badly, it was nice to have a place to come to and rant about my hatred for N@N. 5. Janice's Birthday Threads - When it's you birthday, chances are Janice has made you your own thread, wishing you a happy birthday. Others do it too, but it's Janice's that I remember and I think she's the one that does it the most. 6. The Ladies at the "Chico and the Man" Board - Those are women with a passion for the late Freddie Prinze. I've visited the boards, but I feel almost out of place, because I'm not in love with Freddie Prinze. They have made it one of the most visted boards and they all get along. It's a great board! 7. TJL's Use of " " - Sure, we all use that, but it seems to be TJL's trademark. That and a picture of Hawkeye Pierce. Everytime I use " ", I think of TJL.8. Solomon's Debate Over "Good Times" Not Being a Spin-Off of "Maude" - It seemed so silly when he first mentioned it. However, now, I'm close to believing him. It's a topic I almost always read. It's a topic that's memorable. Whenever I hear anyone say "Good Times" is a spin-off of "Maude" I hear Solomon in my head saying "No it's not!". 9. Blondie44's Fan Fiction - I'm not a big fan of fan fiction, but whenever I go over there, I notice many stories done by Blondie44. 10. The Announcement of Your Favorite Show Coming to DVD - For me, it was "NewsRadio". For Vashti, it was "Fame". It's a great feeling when Pavanbadal announces that your favorite show is being released. 11. The TV-DVD Board Opens - It was a good idea to separate the DVD threads from the general boards. From Vashti's Weekly Poll to everyone's lists of shows, it's a great place to visit. 12. The Creation of the Random Board After the Legendary "Why Not?" Thread - It's kind of self-explanitory. 13. The Year 2003 - This is one of the best years for Sitcoms Online. Although it was an emotional year with many celebrity deaths, it was a memorable year. 14. Safety Pin - As she says "if my presence isn't on there, NOTHING deserves to be on there." 15. The Happy Days Mafia 16. The "Death" of Chad Doody 17. Barwars - These boards (mostly General, DVD & Cheers) would be different without him. 18. The Sitcoms Online Monkees - I wanted something I did to be added to the list. So I'm going back to my fan fiction of The Sitcoms Online Monkees. It only made three episodes, but now I'm planning to make some more. The Monkees were: TV Adam (Guitar) The Mike of the Group Chad Doody (Drums) The Micky of the Group Barwars (Tamberine) The Davy of the Group TJL (Other Guitar) The Peter of the Group 19. Every Single Member ... Ever! - This place would suck without the people who are here now, and who was here in the past. Even the trouble makers should be appreciated. Without them, we would all just get along. I mean who wants everybody to be exactly the same? That would be boring. At least the trouble makers can make a boring thread exciting. 20. September 11, 2001 - Although I wasn't around then (I came a year later), I'm sure this was a big deal for the message boards as well. A sad day for America. Please add some more, so we can make it to 100. |

Thanks TVAdam! That's nice that you remembered why this is such a nice place to come to all of the time.
Over the years at SO I remember......... - September 11 and all the posts that were posted. - The folks at the Facts of Life board a couple of years back when they had so much to say. - The death of Rerun and a host of other TV stars. - The Chit chat boards I love the games, music, movies. I do want to thank all the good folks here for giving us this good place to come to. We get to share so much here. I enjoy reading alot of the posts and I do learn alot from the young people here.

2003 in general - it seemed like a legendary celeb died every week that year.
It really made us wake up and learn to better appreciate the older people still alive today.I agree about the John Ritter point...I remember that day like it was yesterday. That was very sad.
