Default BW on Letterman 11/3/2005

Anyone else disappointed with the BW on Letterman appearance last night?

He was on for only one segment. He didn't promote anything. The BruceIPod thingy was funny but the appearance left me feeling disappointed. Usually I am laughing out loud, waking up family members, because BW is so entertaining. Even David seemed not impressed. Actually, Dave seemed a little out of it as well.

Isn't little Harry a cutie pie? He looks like Dave in some of the pics.

Could it be that guests with nothing to promote only get one segment?

Or maybe Harry's birthday, plus the exploding pumpkin, took too long?

Maybe it was Dave who seemed out of sorts - I kept looking at the right side of his mouth - it looked different to me.

I did like the Mr. Kleen look from the iPod bit. His choice of songs made me laugh.

I don't think this was one of his best appearances. But did you catch the little ML remark? I guess when the Moonlighting people saw a glimpse of him on screen, they knew they'd found David Addison!

BW showed a clip from the Frank Sinatra/Faye Dunaway movie (1980) The First Deadly Sin in which BW had a walk-on of about 2 seconds, maybe less. BW made a remark something to the effect that the Moonlighting people had seen his terrific performance in The First Deadly Sin and then wanted him for the part of David Addison. It was, of course, a joke because there was a 4 year period in between, plus the walk-on was soooooooo short that no one would have really noticed BW. He did have the fortunate experience of walking right next to Frank Sinatra, so it must have been a thrilling experience for a young actor like Bruce in 1980.

Oh now I remember. Thanks kismet. I thought maybe he had made another comment about ML that I missed.
