NO KoQ Awards - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It drives me insane that KoQ has not even been nominated for one award. I don't get it. I figured KoQ fans could nominate them for a People's Choice Award, turns out "People" don't get to nominate, just vote. That SUCKS! Why name it the People's Choice then? I want them to win- they deserve it. What can we do?......It would be cool if WE "the boardies" could make our own award and give it to them, to let them know they are appreciated. Please post your thoughts. Thanks.

It really is a shame, but I've gotten used to the fact that the Emmy's don't and never will care about KOQ.

That Blows!!! Shame on anyone who has ignored a GREAT comedy that deserves much recognition.
As Arthur would say: "I'll See You in Hell" (to all of the Academies and "awards" shows that recognize talent)

Unfortunately, since we know how good a show it is, maybe it's best they don't get nominated. It's a false award anyways, meant to promote the people behind the award, PROCTOR AND GAMBLE. I would rather KoQ know that they mean more to us than some cheezy award that means nothing but more $$$ for a company that specializes in soap, toothpaste, etc.

There are many web sites that talk abt how most of these awards show that we are bombarded with mean nothing, except, maybe to the person(s) who receive them. But even those "winners" of the People's Choice awards know in advance they are going to "win" so what is the surprise there? Only to the audience. We are then deluged with their commercials to buy their products.

I love King of Queens and they deserve a better much more meaningful award. An Emmy for each star and for the writers and the rest of the crew. This show is awesome, funny, different and straight out hilarious.

I completely agree. The People's Choice is nothing but a joke.
