Barney and Gomer - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I think Don Knotts and Jim Nabors (Barney and Gomer) were one of the all-time great matchups. They were both hilarious, and the way they played off of each other was comic genius. It's a shame there weren't more episodes featuring these two. I have a picture of Andy, Barney, and Gomer which every time I look at it it brings a smile to my face.

yeah they were great together. When Gomer was there the show became even funnier.

yea, I really like them in that episode about the haunted house!

Andy tells them to look in the cellar:

Gomer: "I reckon the cellar's in the basement."
