Hawkeye did not mistreat injured Radar - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Remember when Radar was badly wounded and Hawk walked out on surgery on Radar. Well later supposedly Hawk spoke badly to Radar while the latter was bedridden. I have seen this ep dozens of times and cannot understand what Hawk said that was supposed to be so bad. Can someone explain what Hawk supposedly said wrong?

Here's what Hawkeye said to Radar: "Don't you know how much this place stinks?...I hate this place....And if I can't stand up to it to your satisfaction, then-then the h**l with you.

"How dare you! The h**L with your Iowa naivete, and the he**l with your hero worship, and your teddy bear, and while I'm at it the h**l with you. Why don't you grow up for cryin' out loud. I'm not here for you to admire, I'm here to poke bodies out of a sausage grinder. If possible without going crazy. Period.
