This was in Inside TV magazine (which for somereason gets sent to the house...)

The article said that Paul Young will be back and, for those (like me) who aren't that into Betty's storyline, that with him returning he'll also bring in another "big" mystery.

The producers are trying to get Lily Tomlin to play Mrs. McCluskey's sister.

Carlos could have a spiritual reawakening while in jail.

I'm excited about the possible new big mystery with Paul! I think that's what they should've done in the first place instead of bringing in Alfre Woodard out of nowhere and giving her that plotline...(her talent is wasted on her role IMO.)

I do prefer to stay with the characters we saw last season. It appears that the Paul character is lost. I never did find out what happened to him when he was left in the desert like setting that Mike brought in to in the last, first season episode.

He was in the last new episode briefly and will be in the upcoming new episode...
