I have a had time finding anyone who remembers Quark! Richard Benjamin was a futuristic intergalactic garbage man, with his crew (that I can remember) "Ficus" the human plant, and the Bettys, beautiful clones (played by Cyb and Trish Barnstable).

Probably the reason I remember it was the twins...the Barnstables...it was about "that" time in my teenage development, and they had a "profound effect" on me!

Anyone else remember?

I have never seen it but it sounds interesting. I think Buck Henry had something to do with it.

Buck Henry created the show. It was well ahead of its time. I LOVE this show! I have a copy made from my old VHS tapes and have been looking for an upgrade for about 7 or 8 years!

I remember that show! It was on Friday nights at 8 on NBC.
I remember, it started after "Star Wars" came out, & the first episode was loosley based on that. They even had a villian who wore a black helmet, face mask, & cape!!

I remember another episode was based on part of the plot of an old "Star Trek" episode. (for all you trekys, the "Star Trek" episode was "The Deadly Years"-the one where Kirk, Spock, McCoy & Scotty were all aging rapidly)

And then another one had everyone celebrating a Christmas-like holiday called "eleven"!! Funny stuff!!
