BM Season 2 on DVD? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know BM only released the first season on DVD, but why not season 2 on DVD?

I am not sure Harper, I wish it was out though. It has been a while since season one came out.

Sadly, I've heard many folks say it may be sales related...

However, it would be good to note that shows like Mary Tyler Moore picked up with season 2 sales and has a potential release date from tvshowsondvd.com for season 3 because of this...so we can only hope that we'll be blessed with this and shows like it sometime soon down the road...

I read that Sony Pictures owns the rights to Barney Miller -- found two email addys for Sony and sent messages to both -- asking that season two of Barney Miller be released on DVD or else the show be brought back to television -- that it is too good of a show with too many fans to be left on the shelf -- maybe we'll get lucky in 2007.
