Default "I Choose Not to Run"

I just saw "The Race" for the first time the other night. I must say that this might be my new favorite episode. It was very funny, even for Seinfeld. I have some questions about it though. Why was Mickey fired because of Kramer. Also why was Elaine black listed from the restaurant. And why did Kramer need to go to the airport and the end of the episode.

Elaine got put on the "do not deliver list" at the beginning of the episode because she said they got her order wrong and she wasn't going to pay for it. That is why she used Ned's name later on.

I guess Mickey got fired because of guilt by association. They must have figured he was a jr. commie.

I dont think Kramer said why he had to go to the airport. I assumed he was taking George there for his trip to Cuba.

A scene where Jerry looks back at the original race has been done in "Seinimation" for the Season 6 DVD set. Jerry Seinfeld previewed it on last Thursday's Tonight Show, and you can see a preview of the same scene somewhere on Yahoo. Just search Yahoo for "Seinfeld DVD" and you'll be sure to find it.
