Very good! Excellent!
Just wondering, how tall did you make your Herman statue, and how tall is your Grandpa statue? |

Thats awesome! What did you make it for? Was it a commssion? Did you sew the costume yourself or have it made? What materials is Grampa made of (internal structure and all...) I LOVE this stuff

Thanks everyone!
My Herman statue is 7'3" and my Grandpa is 6'1" I built it because I'm a big Munsters fan, I've also built some other movie characters as well. I was rushing to finish the Grandpa to display at a Halloween/trick or treat party at my parents house, that's where my Herman is as well. For the costume I bought a tuxedo, wing tip shirt with no pleats, white vest and tie and I found a costume maker that makes professional looking Vampire capes. The only part of the costume I had to make was the medal ribbon. I built the body using wood and then padded it with stretch wrap. It's very sturdy and stable. It's not very heavy either. I commissioned a sculptor to make the head. Here's a picture that shows how it was built:

Yes are your Herman pictures listed anywhere?
If you ever decide to make Lily, I think I could hook you up with the dress and necklace (see my post) |

Hey everyone! Here's some pictures of Herman and Grandpa together at my parent's garage. They have a big Halloween / trick or treat party each year so that's why there's so much other stuff there.
Majornelson, I saw your Lily dress and it looks perfect. I'm hoping to make a Lily next year, I'll have to get your contact info. Here's the 5 pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It would be hilarious if you made a Lily, Marilyn, and Eddie set of statues to go with those! Can you imagine putting them on your front lawn at Halloween? The kids and more likely the adults who remember the Munsters, would surely get a thrill out of it.
