Default Question about Season 2 opening credits

For some reason I can't find S2 in the stores, so I guess I'll have to get it from Amazon.

Does S2 opening credits have Mabel coming out of the front door yelling at Dee in the street to get back into the house? At least that is what it looks like to me. I know I remember this, and it is not in S1.

Yes, Mabel comes running out yelling at Dee. Shirley is seen walking down the street too, shaking her head at the boy's antics.

Is that a bad thing what she did while she was on the show?! Her role was to be a mother, not to provide laughs. How many times do I have to tell you that?! You can have a presence on a show in so many ways rather than to provide laughs, whether you realize it or not. I liked Mama because what she was...a mama. She provided a strong mother role and sometimes a father role. Mama Thomas was one of the best tv mothers of the 70s. I'm tired of you bashing Mama Thomas. You see the affect she had on the show, everyone is saying how much she was missed when she left, so she did an excellent job.
