The Cheerleading Episode- cop out ending for Dee - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Man, if the cheerleading episode was set in 2005, Dee would be protesting and getting ready for a lawsuit. Nobody today would accept "We're giving the horrible white girl or the horrible Chicano girl a chance with the cheerleading team because we need to have so many mixed races whether they are good or not."

All what Dee says at the end is "Maybe we can bus in some new principals" and she claims "I'll just try again next year." Boy, how the times have changed!!!

For a minute I thought you were talking about the episode where Rerun was a cheerleader. It was hilarious at the end.

I thought Dee was great in the episode.
